With this new outlet for Christian music, fans all over the country began to learn about the uprising of Christian rock and metal!\nAfter 10 years from its inception, Heaven’s Metal evolved into HM in 1995. In 2005, HM split into two separate publications with the new division reclaiming the name, “Heaven’s Metal.” Heaven’s Metal remained focused on the hard rock / metal side of Christian music, while HM remained focused on other styles.\nIn 2013, HM Magazine was sold while Doug continues to own and operate Heaven’s Metal Magazine.
